My son is 3 months old. He is getting alot better at sleeping through the night. Lately, he is waking up at 4am with a leaky diaper. His sleeper, his sheets, are drenched. I tried the next size up but it didn't work. Also, he is a side sleeper. Anyone have any suggestions?? Tricks?? He is still very tired when this wakes him up and changing his diaper and PJS makes it harder for him to go back to bed.

When you put him to bed do you give him a bottle and let him drink it? If you do then I would recommend stopping this. I have went through this with my 16 month old daughter and have had to change a lot of things in her habits. The other thing you can do is talk to his Pediatrician about this and see what they recommend. What kind of diapers do you use? I was using pampers on my daughter when this started happening. I have since switched her to huggies diapers and ever since no more problems.

One other idea: My oldest son was a terrific sleeper and always woke up with a VERY full diaper. I got into the habit of changing him in the middle of the night. 99% of the time he'd sleep through it. He wen to bed at 9 and would wake up around 7. I had to be up to pump in the middle of the night anyway.

My daughter gets a sippy cup at night this just started recently. But i dont give her a lot to drink just enough to satisfy her. Giving them a little to drink is okay but to give them a full bottle and then putting them to bed you are going to run into these issues. Although I think if you try the huggies diapers I think you will find that it helps a lot. Huggies IMO are the best. The others claim they dont leak and so forth when in reality they really do. I tried 4 different types of diapers before trying huggies and I have stuck with huggies ever since

He does get a bottle before bed. Should I try the bottle before his bath? He also gets a dream feed at 11pm. I have tried pampers and Luvs. I was told by another mom to try the Huggies nighttime too. I am going to pick those up tomorrow.
