Ive been combing hair for hours -my back hurts and my kids have had enough! is there anything out there that will zap them? ive tried many potions infact ive spent a fortune !! then a week later they are back!! I went to the doctor for advice and was given a print out on wet combing-i dont mind wet combing but when the problem keeps recurring it gets difficult to get kids to co-operate!!

when combing, section the hair this way you dont go over teh same bit again and again!, use conditioner on straight hair, oil on very curly hair, tea tree oil a couple of drops warmed on hands rubbed through hair once clear is a good deterrant.

nits have a 7 to 10 day cycle so keep an eye out and a regular weekly lice check is often the best way, nape of neck and behind ears are the best places to look!!!

try tea tree shampoo and conditioner.. just watch those eyes at it can sting if it gets in them.. nits hate it..

I do a wet combing in front of the TV or the computer.....

but it has to be consistent since they constantly get it again.

even after a couple of weeks when there aren't any left, I comb randomly in the bathroom and find a huge one - a newcomer..

the trick is to catch these newcomers before they multiply!
