I have a 6mth old and I haven't been able to work because I don't have a sitter nor anyone that could watch her while I work. I struggle to find ways to keep up my bills and to pay rent. I had a sitter but she started a job. The father isn't helping at all I was denied child care assistance. I don't want to lose my car or apartment what should I do?

How often do you check in with them? It makes a difference on how you do that too. You have to do some work to get results and not depend on them to be the ones to totally follow through or you won't get what you need done. As for being on internet how do you get access to it? Because another thing you might do is cut out unneeded things such as internet, cable tv, and other expenses that are extras.

Your welcome but as for the child support, you have to keep on them. You just can not sit and wait for them to do the work. My friend goes round and round with them all the time and she is dealing with child support enforcement from two states as the one her ex husband lives in has to collect it and then send it to the state she lives in to be counted and tallied before she gets it. There are times she gets nothing and has to go through both of those state enforcement agencies to get things done. So, if I were you I would be on the phone with them everyday if I had to do so. If those places are not hiring right now, then find something else to apply to. Try a gym. Some of those have the child care there too and you might luck out there. Also it has a lot in how you present yourself as well.

1) Get father on child support. He is obligated to help raise the child. Also go for custody and visitation.

2) You should try to find a job in a child care center. You could take your child to work with you but you would not be working in the same room your child is in. You would have child care at a difference in cost as a benefit of your working there and you would have money coming in.

3) Do not use the babysitter issue as an excuse not to find something or someone to look after your child. My idea in #2 is excellent and I have done it before. You should have had dad on child support a while back.
