No periods after 3 mo ths of delivery, pls advice

His, amber here, mother of 3 months old baby through c section. She was born in August and I among having periods still, doctor told me its due to breast feeding . Is it normal . Pls advice. This is my first pregnancy. Regards amber

Every woman is different. You could have gotten your period back as early as 6 weeks... or it might not come back until sometime after your child is 100% weaned from breastfeeding.... or it could come anytime between now and when your baby is weaned.

Totally normal. SOme people don't get their periods until a year or later!

With all of my kids, I get my period about four months after birth.

I breastfed my daughter and didn't get my first period till she was 7 or 8 months old. It's very common, I also have mirena that helps too but my daughter is 2 1/2 and I've only had a period 5 times. Don't think that just because you are breastfeeding though you are protected from becoming pregnant again. It's a common misconception that you don't have to use another form of birth control.
