Pls my 4 months plus old baby drools saliva alot,pls what is responsible.thanks

Totally normal for babies to drool. As Angela mentioned, they don't know how to swallow it so it comes out. Evelyn stated the teething thing, and that is also true. When babies are starting to teeth, they turn into little faucets.

Agreed Angela and to add to that some babies also do this when they are teething (getting their teeth in) and they will drool a lot. Its not anything to be scared of...its a natural process.

I read that saliva is a new thing to babies (they are not born with it) and swallowing is a learned process which is why babies spit up so much. Seems like while not fun for mommy to deal with its a natural for babies to go through the spit up phase until they learn to swallow.
