My son will be 1 yr in 2 weeks, still no sign of teething. I have read that some babies teeth later than others, which is fine. But what is the nice way to say to people when they ask, how many teeth does he have, when i say none, they always say OH REALLY??? its very annoying. any suggestions.

Me personally woulds say something along the lines "yeah no kidding he's on our dental policy for nothing what a waste of money", then I'd walk away.

I would just say that all babies get their teeth at some point, some just get them later than others. My oldest girl didn't get her first tooth until she was almost 16 months, then got all of them in within 6 months. My youngest got her first tooth at 7 months, and now, at 16 months, only has 8 teeth (with more coming in).
That said, my pediatrician and the baby dental nurse said that if your child hasn't actually gotten any teeth cut through by 18 months, have them checked because at that point they may have trouble getting the teeth through their gums.

You could say something like "Yeah, we're just waiting for his teeth to come in all at once so we don't have to deal with teething pain over an extended period of time." A bit of humor is a good way to disarm folks and keep tension down. Hope it helps!
