I've been using the noseFrida on my 3 week old baby boy and 2 days ago, he's been snorting like a little piggy every now and then. did i damage my LO's nose membrane? I don't see any boogers in the nose.

If it worsens, or is concerning, I would try to get in to see the pediatrician sooner than later. I know you already have an appointment, just saying. Stop using it all together. Never had any issue with traditional nose aspirator, but only used them when they had colds and it was absolutely necessary. If there are boogers, they will work there way out naturally. If they are congested and need help breathing through runny snot, that is the only time I would use one.

I figured it was an aspirator, just never heard of that kind before.

If you don't see any reason to use it, then why are you doing it so often?

LM, it's a nose aspirator...but a 'new' design.

Eva, if the child isn't snotty, don't use the nosfrida! And if he is, use it, but GENTLY! If you are concerned that you may have caused damage, step away from the nosefrida, and schedule an appointment with the physician

What is a nosefrida? Why are you using it so often? One way or another, stop using it and have the doctor look in his nose and mouth to make sure everything looks normal.
