I need some advice about my son. He is 11 years old. Healthy as a horse and not on any meds. About 2 months ago, he woke up in the middle of the night and was hallucinating. He had no fever and was not sick. This lasted about 45 mins. He was shaking and sweating and just totally freaked out. He was obsessed and scared of his hands. He kept looking at the wall saying he was scared of the space. When he saw his reflection in the mirror, you would have thought he'd seen a ghost. He finally fell asleep. I took him to the dr. the next day. The dr. is clueless. The only thing he could think of was some sort of seizure disorder. My son had bloodwork done, an EEG, and a CT scan. All came back perfectly fine. We thought it was a severe case of night terrors but the weird thing is, he remembers everything in the morning and is even aware of it going on when it happens. He has since had 4 more episodes. Non of them have been anywhere near as bad. He just wakes up trembling and sweating. He always wants me to hold his hands because he is aware of how bad they are shaking. He gets very upset and says that he feels like he is losing his mind. Does anybody have any ideas what it could be? Like i said, the dr. is stumped and i have searched the web for hours with no explaination.
