I am a mother of 3...all adults now but they are raising their kids as they were......When they bring their families back home their little guys its so very gratifying to see how open and willing they are to enjoy the pool and our home naked....any others have similar experiences?

I was always allowed to run around naked at my gran's house too. It was just the natural thing to do. I guess if she hadn't lived on a farm she might not have wanted me to, but with no neighbours it didn't matter. I felt so fre there. I still miss her every day.

Personally I think that is beyond weird. Nudity in our home and w/ our immediate family is virtually a non issue (though I do have two teenage girls and there are quite a few times they do not allow little brother around while naked... because that is NORMAL), but w/ extended family members... I believe certain boundaries are also normal.

As an example... I have NEVER told my son that he needs to not be naked when my mom is visiting (2-3 times/year), but he naturally developed the sense of privacy around her by the time he was 4 years old.

I guess if that's what you all are into... whatever... as I know there are nudist colonies and such that would support it. It's about a million times beyond my comfort level though.

I guess nudist family isn't quite the right term.....we were much the same...since we live in a fairly isolated area with great weather the need for clothing wasn't great....at least during the summer...However the warmth of a wood stove heated home made the winters much the same. I was raised in a very emotionally supportive family which included an open feeling about the human body..

I dunno if I'd use the word "nudist", but as a child, teenager, adult and mother, clothing for me and my family has never been much more than an option in the home. Being comfortable, physically and emotionally is very important.
