I have a 2week old boy and we have found a lot of what I eat upsets his tummy. He gets real fussy in the evenings and it continues into the night. After talking to our dr she said it was colic and to be careful of what I eat. What are my options? I stay away from dairy , spicy foods, and certain fruits n veggies. What other bland foods can I eat and stay healthy and his tummy won't get upset? I'm finding it hard to find things to eat besides, toast , egg sand which, chicken noodle soup and plain pasta.

This might limit your choices a little more but for now I would stay away from gluten as well. (Gluten free pastas and so forth). Stick with lean meats, fish if you like it (careful on the types for mercury) and as many "whole" (from the produce department or frozen and organic if you can afford it) fruits and veggies that you can eat it. I know it is limiting and it is a real pain but just remember: you won't be breastfeeding forever! :)
