The schools in our city vary from state to state unfortunately...am from Baltimore Md.and it's been so many accidents with school administrators not having proper emergency guidelines,if it was up to me I would home school but my daughter keep speaking of school with excitement and I don't want to take that from her experience, she's an only child,so being around kids her age doing outings and watching her excitement is priceless for me,so i only want her journey to school for the first time to have the best safety measures and easy for me not to worry.

So what is the school policy?
Most schools in Australia are nut free. The school my children go to also have signs on the door if they have sever allergies. In my Daughter's class the sign is Nut free and dairy and egg friendly. That means that there are dairy and egg allergies but they aren't severe. Children are also taught not to share ANY food and to wash hands when they get to school and after eating. All staff are also trained in how to administer an Epi Pen.
