ok first off I am grandma,me and my son have been main caretakers of my grandson,mom started hin in daycare 3 weeks ago,for the first 3 days he was fine( his aunt jessica is there till 2and he know her her but not well)after that he started saying he didnt want to go to daycare he wanted to stay home at first it was a wimper then now kicks and screams,I took him myself friday and I had him smiling to se aunt jessica ,but when we got to room he scaned it and the tears started welling up in eyes,which to me says he was looking for something and found it and it upset him ,I ask my daughter if she noticed him scanning room and she said yea ,looks to me he was looking for someone who made him un happy

Something must have happened for him to not want to go anymore. I would definitely have a talk to all the workers and ask them how he is after he has been dropped off. Some kids will kick up a storm and as soon as the parents have left they are fine.

well he has commented about a little boy christopher that just started but he was already getting to where he didnt want to go,my grandson hasnt had many kids to play with and not used to mean kids,guess I will ask that thet watch for this other wise I am looking for other daycare so heart breaking to see him unhappy,mind you this is a child who ran up to unknown kids to play like at park and cried when they left or he had to

Have you discussed it with the carers in the room? Has he had a run in with another child? You really need to know what has happened and the carers are the best ones to tell you.

My daughter doesn't like a little boy at daycare because he has bitten her a couple of times. She now yells at him when he comes near her and he's trying to be nice now. It's hard because they don't forget when someone has upset them.
