i am ready for baby number 2, and so is hubby! but. . . . as per dr. orders and hubby and i agree. i need to loose weight first. i gained about 80 lbs with the first ( she is 4 months now) so i went into labour at 231 lbs and now i am down to 185 lbs. i need to get to 150 lbs before we can pull the goalie. my hope is to be down to my goal in 6 months or less. (i know i will probly take longer, but i want to do this as healthy as possible since i want to get pregnant right away so my body is ready)

so ladies how did you loose your baby weight, and well any weight loss.
IDEAS PLEASE!!! hubby and i have baby fever!

Cardio cardio CARDIO! That and eating lean protein and veggies and SOME fruits. Stay away from enriched bread (whole grains only). I say cardio since you are trying to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time. If you can't do cardio right away, build up to it (jog for 5 minutes, for example, then walk for one minute for a total of 20 minutes, then get to where you can jog 30 minutes or longer, something like that) Or take a class at a gym or elsewhere for the cardio aspect. Good luck! Get hubby in on the action, that is a great motivator as well!

Cut out sugars and grains. You'll drop the weight so fast it'll make your head spin.

~♥Marina♥~ Gallegos - sorry about the confusion, when i re-read it i can see where it might be mis-understood.

we are not trying right now, we are just working on getting the weight down to try in the future. so we wont be trying until the weight is down which will probly be in 6 months or more so it will be close to a year before we even try to become pregnant, and thats after dr. ok's it then.

Well, you have lost about 50lbs. Just keep doing what you are doing. Add some excercise to your routine, and keep up the good work! As far as getting pregnant right this moment, it has only been 4 months since you delivered. Your body needs time to heal so it can deal with another baby. Good luck!
