OK, so I'm new here and have looked all over the internet for answers bc it's going to be awhile before I can get in to see my Dr. but haven't found anything helpful. My periods for the last few months have been like once a week for a day or so and then it goes away. And then for the last 3 weeks or so, it comes every other day or every two days. It's not heavy usually but I notice it mostly after I get home from the gym. My son just turned 1 year old and stopped breastfeeding about 10 months old. I have been on the low-estrogen birth control since he was born and it scared me at first with this whole thing so I took a pg test. It said negative. I've done that a couple of times and it's always negative. Does anyone have any insight? Has this happened to anyone else and should I be concerned?

That makes me feel a little better. It's a little nerve-wracking when you can't get in right away at your doc. You know how it is. We always over-think everything. :) Thanks!

Stopping breastfeeding can mess your cycles around also combined with the type of birth control you are on. Now that you have stopped feeding you may need a stronger dose of the pill.

Other than that you really do need to see your doctor since they know your history.
