wow i have three children my son is the oldest and i just told him and them about sex he is 13 my daughters are 11 and 9. I would start out by letting her know her private parts are basically the same as yours and go on from there im sure its more of an uncomfortable thing for you to talk about more than anything.

I have been discussing body parts with my children since forever. At this point, just start talking with her about her body parts using the correct names.

This is a duplicate post. If your son was 13, I imagine he had a wealth of knowledge (not all of it accurate) from his friends. When mine were little, they bathed together and with my husband and I all of the time.
When a child asks questions, just answer them. You don't need elaborate details, tell them what they want or need to know and then follow their lead. My eldest knew about intercourse and how babies were made at 7, when I was pregnant with my 4th. It is never too early to start teaching about their bodies, safety, boundaries and sexuality. And I agree with LMCBW, use the proper names. I am a school nurse and I have girls in high school who still call their vagina by a pet term.

Yea that like a great idea... I guess I'm just nervous to for her to ask questions and not know if I should answer them or how to answer them... I think that's one of the hardest parts of being a mom.
