My 5yr old son just started Kindergarten this fall he was in half day pre k last year and had normal 4yr old problems but he has been very disruptive in class and gets nasty and mean when he is Told no by his teacher and other adults at school. He refuses to listen, screams, yells and recently bit and scratched teachers and the principal. He has been kicked out of school twice and is now on probation if he hits or bites another staff member he is expelled. He has never had these problems at home or daycare he is very bright and loves going to school and his teacher. Just looking for some advise if any other mom has had these problems. Thank you!

The part where he is a completely different child at home compared to Kindergarten.
I don't see a child being so different, especially since he also doesn't act out at daycare. It just seems very strange for him to be so different.
There has to be something going on in school, you need to find out. Ask the teachers or even ask other parents what their children have said about your son.

Yes i have sat down with him several times and he just says he doesn't know why. And i know he knows its not acceptable behaviour. What part of the story do you think im leaving out?

Have you sat down with him and asked why he is acting up in class? At 5 he should be able to tell you why he does it. He should also know that it's not acceptable behaviour.
I feel that we haven't been told the whole story here.
