My daughter is 12 years old, she is overweight what can i do to help her lose weight.

I agree, model healthy eating habits. If she's gaining weight from eating junk food, stop buying it! Go on fun, active, family outings (hiking, biking, swimming, etc.).

Sorry about the bluntness. Are you overweight? Parents eating habits are "genetic" so to speak. If you want her to get healthy it has to start with you. The whole family has to start eating right, be active together, and support each other in this transition. You can't just force her to change while the rest continue on like normal. Its not fair to her.

She started gaining weight at the age of 8, i think the reason for her to gain weight is because of junk foods.
