Overwhelmed with an 15 month old

Is there any new moms out there that feel as overwhelmed as I do? I'm so blessed to have such an amazing little boy. No one told me being a parent would be so much work!! Everything is a fight with him. He won't walk, he still uses a pacifier, still drinks from a bottle I feel like I could really use so help! He doesn't want anyone but me. Not even his dad most of the time. I need a break, is that bad?

It's not bad to want a break, not at all. FYI, sounds like your kiddo is doing pretty well...yes, it is time to start weaning, but start it gently...and the same with the paci. Don't stress about those yet. Also, don't stress about him not being ready to walk yet, unless he's demonstrating other delays.

My youngest was almost 2 before he walked, and then he was unstoppable. The ba stopped later than 'normal' as well, but he's a perfectly fine teenager now.

At this age, he's still going to want you for most of it, but if you can encourage him to go with dad more, you'll start feeling that you're gettting the break.
