Pacifiers and teeth!

My daughter is 9 months ok and got her first 2 teeth at 6 months she hasn't got anymore yet, could having her pacifier that is still aged 0-6 months be affecting this at all? Tried her with bigger pacifiers and she just spits them out so tried to leave her without it, but if I do let her have the smaller ones I want to know that it isn't affecting her teeth from coming through? Any advice and thoughts would be great :)

I don't think the pacifier would affect her teeth coming in. My son got his bottom two teeth around 6 months and didn't get anymore for a very long time! He finally got his 4 top teeth all at once around 10 months. All his teeth are fine and he also uses the same kind of pacifiers that he's had since he came home from the hospital. I think each baby is different and they all get teeth at different times. I would let her use the pacifier that she likes. It isn't going to hurt her. Her teeth will come in when they're ready and she might need that pacifier more than ever when they do!
