Yeah my mom is my rock, she talks to me everyday and knows when im getting better or worse. i feel better already talking about it and researching and understanding what anxiety is,and how it acts up more at night. Im going to look for teas, maybe even a sleepy time tea, im all about natural too because i cant for the life of me swallow pills so i doubt meds from a dr would help.but im going too see the dr anyway, just to see what i should do im also willing to see a councilor if i need to,i need to stay healthy for my son, as the commercial says...depression hurts everybody. i hate being sad and tired all the time! i think im just in a funk. i been working out everyday thats made me feel a bit better!

I've dealt with it. Not as bad as you, at least the way it sounds, but I've had a couple panic attacks. There are a few natural things you can take, I love my 'Stress End' that I buy at a whole foods store. I also use natural teas that help me relax. I take them for anxiety, but I've also had anger issues, and it helps both. My faith helps, too, I've found a few people in my church who are the same, and we help each other.

As much as I love my natural remedies, though, I really think it is best to see a doctor. I started on prescriptions from an MD, and then, after I felt I had some control, I tried more natural stuff. You may also want to enlist a friend to help you monitor yourself. Many times our friends can see things getting better or worse before we do. What ever you decide, do something. Life isn't worth living being frightened all the time. As you can see from my pic- I got over my fears- and it is much better on this side!!

Thank you, i dont think its postpartum because i was like this when i was little too, i seen Councilors in the past over anxiety and depression. but i feel its more overwhelming now that i am a mother, like last spring we had a huge fire in our hometown it wiped out alot of the town,so since then i got paranoid over fires, and there have been lots of stories on the news about people dying in fires, so i used to get worked up at nigt thinking how would i get my baby out on time and that sort of thing, NOW its the going out of town i only trust few peoples driving so its hard for me too tell if its my depression or a inner voice warning me not to go.its just overwhelming i want to be happy again. i think its winter blues. not going out much, weight gain followed by some sleep anxiety. my family dr moved and ihavent found a replacement, since the fire in may about 6 of our good drs all left town, but your right its definetly anxiety, im trying to find a doctor that accepts new patiecnts and ill go from there.I hope i can find a solution that will work for me. i think alot of the problem to is being alone alot,my hubby works a camp job and is hardly ever home =( but i find when he is home im so relaxed i dont have time too worry about everything.

This sounds like anxiety, I see you have a little one..could be Postpartum Depression/Anxiety? It can come on anytime after having a baby. My advice: yes counseling is a good plan, just to gain awareness around what is causing the anxiety, and what you can do about it. Next, go to a Naturopathic doctor- to start on a regime of herbs/supplements to calm your nervous system. Anxiety is a quite complex, as there are so many possible causes, and what helps one may not help another. You have to find what works for you..but do get help. Anxiety rarely resolves itself without help, and often will worsen if left untreated. I am a counselling psychology student, mother of 3 and know all to well about paranoid anxiety and constant worry.. but have come a long way! There is hope, and help out there- I suggest you get some help and support in place right away. Hope this helps a bit.Good luck.
