Hello ladies. My daughter is 6 years old. Her father has only been in her life for 6 months out of 6 yrs. She was 2 1/2 then. Our relationship ended when she was 3 & a few weeks later he was incarcerated for a year. That made it the 2nd time since she had been born. The 1st time was when she was 3 weeks old & he was gone for 2 yrs. My question is can I have his Parental Rights Terminated? He took me to court for custody & lost then moved to Atlanta without telling me. I found out from one of his family members. He doesn't pay child support & has never provided for her. State of PA

He would have to sign the paperwork to give up his rights.

You would be better off finding a lawyer though.

Signing away a man's rights does not make him less of a father. He still is her father no matter what. I don't understand the logic of a man doing this. We make our choices of who we have children with and who we marry. Some of our choices come back to hunt us later in life but we can't change it.
