My daughter aged 31 is staying in another country. Her husband has to travel for 3 days . She is pregnant and with another small kid at home. I am wondering if I should fly ( about 8000 areonautical miles) to give her company as I worry for her safety.
Pl advise moms in this situation what u would expect.

I agree with the other ladies.
It's only 3 days, not 3 months! If she can't cope with 1 child on her own for 3 days then she shouldn't be having children.
Like Jodi said, she's pregnant, not disabled. Millions of women every day look after young children while pregnant and they manage.
It's time to cut the apron strings and let her live her life.

It's not THAT difficult to take care of a child while you are pregnant - pregnancy isn't a disability. And it is only 3 days. Unless, of course, she is just about to give birth, or she has complications in her pregnancy, I wouldn't be concerned. Did she ask you for help? Personally, I wouldn't have asked for help in this situation.

Won't the expense of this travel be more costly than just checking in by phone?

It's only for 3 days. I don't see why she would have too much of a problem. If she wants you to come or if you want to come and you have asked her and she's OK w/ it... it's totally up to the two of you, but I don't see why she would NEED you to be there for that short of time.

Has she asked you to come? It is only 3 days. Unless she has specifically asked you to fly over, i, it may be more of an imposition on your part.
