Peanut or peanut free

Regarding the nut allergy issue thing I have been getting a lot of different advice about if I should allow my son's to eat peanut products. I am getting advice from different doctor that counterdict each other.

One told me that a child should not have peanut products until they are two, another said until they are three, a third said until they are five to reduce the chance to develop a peanut allergy. Then another said that you should introduce them to peanut products right when they start eating solid foods, what do you think. My sons are 2 years old (8 months as of tomorrow)

My kids started on peanut butter when they started to eat toast and sandwiches. If there is no history of peanut allergy in your family then you should be able to start it when you like. Just take the usual care you would do when introducing any new food.

Well... all of my kids were eating peanut butter by a year. I also ate peanut products while pregnant and breastfeeding. If my family had a history or food allergies I might've been a little more cautious, but that's not the case here so I honestly didn't even worry about it for a second.
