Hi, my son is three years old. I am potty training him, his father will not take him in to learn how to pee like a boy, so I took matters into my own hands and took him to the potty and I sit on the big potty while he sits on the race car potty ( now he pees like a pro) but he sits whe he pee's.. Lol weird but I did it. How... I let him watch me pee once in the potty then bam he did it to.. Made me so happy.
Now it's the second stage of potty.. The big 2. He goes poop in his race car pull up, goes to the bathroom, takes his pamper off and his butt basically smears the poop on the toilet seat. (yuk, such a big mess) but I cannot get him to break that habbit and just go poop ing the Big potty (race car travel toilette seat) he hates his little potty lol he wants to be a big boy. I have a feeling it is going to be tricky but at what he knows no he will be potty trained soon. He starts school when he's 4 years old so hopefully we make it.
I think it's best to let the child watch you go, then he knows what he has to do, (visual Learner) what do you think?
Make it a game say I'm going to the potty, do you want to come to?or just take him lol sometimes you do have to fight.
