I,ve been on here for a while now,and 1 thing i can't stand is when you give an opinion and people don't like it.That's what we're here for right,to give our opinion yet people on here still think we are wrong. Is it our opinion,or not what they want to hear. I want people to let me know when they have given an opinion on here, and then been badmouthed by the so-called "EXPERTS" on here.........

Here is an analogy of debating:

The glass is half full, the glass is half empty, both OPINIONS are right, but the FACT is that the 16 oz glass holds 8oz of liquid.

And there are 'experts' on here. Some mom's have professions like being a nurse, a social worker, a psychologist, etc.

You have a right to your opinions, but it isn't a right that the opinion will be seen as a good one.

The problem with sites like these is sometimes what can be considered an opinion can actually be very dangerous to a child. So sometimes these so-called "Experts" get a little heated when something could endanger a child, or endanger the general public.

So many of these "experts" have raised 2-5 children already, so in truth many of them actually are very good "experts" on the repeat questions of raising children.

Also handling opinions go two ways, you expect the experts to hand your opinion, but you also have to handle their opinions. Btw I have RARELY seen anyone bad mouth anyone else.

And i agree with Amanda, for a NURSE to not understand the 'age of consent' law is very dangerous.

The "age of consent" is not an opinion; it's a law.

Barb i agree, but is there a standard age of consent worldwide? Or an age of consent that we go by as a norm?
