please give me some answers on wheter or not getting your tubes tied put you into perimenopause. I also want to know does getting your tubes tied make you feel depression and high aniexty when going through perimenopause. i had my tubes tied after my 4th child and I was 26yrs old and since then i have experinced perimenopausal sympton. I was told I was to young for menopause after a few years of getting my tubes tied I felt better but now that I am 47yrs old now them same feeling are coming back. So can we link getting our tubes tied to early menopause?

If you still have functioning ovaries you do not go through menopause. When you have a tubal your ovaries remain. There is absolutely NO evidence that having your tubes tied is directly linked to depression and anxiety (maybe indirectly because of how you feel about a permanent procedure preventing you from having any further pregnancies - there is some emotion with knowing you've had your last child). If these were your only symptoms, then I would hardly say it is the same as perimenopause.
