I am partially pumping for my baby, and supplementing with formula throughout the night. I seem to have gotten my period, a very light period. Is it because im not breastfeeding 100% of the time?

My son was nursed exclusively and I got my period back at 2.5 months. My friend was nursing twins exclusively and got hers back at 6 weeks! I also have a friend that through 3 kids she never got her period back until each child was fully weaned from the breast... even if she supplemented and the kid had solids (hers were weaned anywhere from 10-18 months).

It's likely just your body... Nothing to do about it except gripe a bit that you aren't one of the lucky ones to get a longer break from it... lol

Not necessarily. Some women will never stop their periods, and some will go a year or longer. Your bodies hormones are very individual to you. In the meantime, make sure you are using protection so you don't get pregnant.
