I love staying home with my son (13 Months), but I know he needs to be around children. I do worry about putting him in daycare because of his advancement. His doctor says he would need to be moved up to a two year old room but I'm not very comfortable with that idea... But then again feel I'm holding him back. So keeping him home & teaching him at his own pace really seems like the right choice, so I'm wondering if I should put him in a program a couple days a week so he's around more children his age or if I should maybe consider a Montessouri school instead. But with my mom being a teacher & knowing a lot about different Daycares I'm worried about even putting him in anything & considering HOME SCHOOLING! Urgh it's frustrating I just want what's best for my baby...

There are things you can do that don't require you putting him in school at such a young age. You can check your local library for story hours. We did a music together class with my son when he was two, a community center near us did open gym play time for tots two days a week so we did that when he was little. My son wasn't enrolled into preschool until he was 4 and he adjusted just fine.

We have "playgroups" here. A group of Mums get together once a week with their little ones and the kids all get to play and the Mums all get to compare issues and "network" so to speak. Check out if there is anything like this in your community.
