My Miss Holly is 71/2 mths old. We have just been going threw sleep training for the last few wks and she is doing pretty good! Now she is waking up at 4:30am to play for who knows how long! She wants to go to bed by 5:30,asleep by 6. I have tried to keep her up but she just gets overtired! The early morning wake ups are a killer! What should i do to try and get her to sleep in?

i would add another cat nap around 5 30 ish, for 30 to 45 minutes. then have bath time and bed time routine stretched out till 7 - 730.

Logan was having 3 naps until about 8 or so months, at almost 10 months we have knocked out one of those naps ( on most days) by increasing his waking time between naps by 15 minutes increments each couple of days.

add the third nap to get her bedtime and wake up adjust to a more suitable hour. then after she is used to those sleeping hours. slowly increase her waking time , and decrease her cat nap time until you eliminate completely. give yourself plenty of time weeks, a couple months even.

She naps at between 8-9am for 11/2 hrs and then again 1-2pm for another11/2 hrs. she takes sometime 1hr to get herself to sleep!

well...she wants to sleep by 530..and waking up at 430...that's a pretty solid nights sleep. The way I see it..she isn't having a problem's that you doesn't want to get up at the crack of dawn lmao

I don't blame you. What time is nap time during the day? You need to move it maybe an hour later..that way you can have her in bed by 7pm instead and up in the morning at 6 ish..then in another week move nap another hour later and she can get up at 7pm

I would try giving her a nap during the day or early evening. Keep her up by taking her outside to play after dinner.
