Does anyone use the Playtex Ventaire bottles? If so do they leak out the bottom? I have had 3 different sets and they all leak? Am I doing something wrong? They cost way too much to leak!! Grrrrrr......

No your not doing anything wrong. I have the same problem. I find when you trace the bottom silicone with your finger and push it down it kinda helps the leaking issue. I know this may sound really dumb..but when they really piss me off, I suck the bottom of the bottle...hahaha...but it works to help the suction...luckily no one in my family has seen me do that...yet LOL
I have tried almost every bottle under the sun, and these Playtex bottles are the only ones that seriously work to help prevent gas.

I agree they cost way to much for them to leak, and there more difficult to clean. but all in all besides the crap...they seriously work.

Cheers, and happy leaking haha

I had the same problem at first. Here's the key: make sure the bottoms are completely dry before you put the clear plastic ring in the bottom piece. Press it firmly in and then assemble the bottle together. After I started doing that, I've never had them leak again. Sounds crazy, huh?!

I used them for all 3 of our kids, never had that problem! Hmmm... be sure to take the bottom part completely apart when washing, and also make sure the rubber/latex part at the bottom is pushed down into the little 'groove' that it sits in all the way around before screwing onto the bottle. Hope this helps some!

Hi, i use these bottles as well, although i havnt had an issue with leaking, i have an issue with what the bottles ARNT suppose to do....... bubbles coming in the nipple, no matter how much i let the dry or push the silicone bottom in, they still dont let air in the bottom, the bubbles come in the nipple! Help, I've tried everything i can think of and i cant even find this issue on the internet!

They sell the slow nipples. The bottle sets that I received all came with fast nipples. hahaha fast nipples.

I use them and mine don't leak at all. Maybe you should take them back? I put the rubber stopper thingy in the bottom.

I never have had a problem with them leaking, however the replies below are true. The main problem that I have had with the the Playtex Ventaire is that the formula seems to come out to fast for my baby. He's a big eater and drinks fast anyways, so with these bottles the formula comes out twice as fast for him and he sometimes starts to choke. We still use the bottles because like you said they are expensive. We just have to pay very close attention to him when we do use them.
