My son is turning 4 year in May 2014 but he is still not talking a full sentence ( more than three words). He is saying one word, A-Z, 1-10, Shapes, Colors and sing some nursery rhymes like wheel on the bus, twinkle twinkle, ABC songs etc.
I went to speech therapy she recommended to do hearing test, I did that last month he is perfect in hearing ( Two times I did when he was awake and while he was sleeping in both result testing was good. He doesn't have any hearing problem. I am sending him to Kindergarten as well but I observed his talking is not improved. He knows every thing( He is doing all motor skills and physical activities on his age) but not taking. He is mumming and talk his own language I couldn't understand. If he wants anything he is pushing or pulling me or saying ahhhhhhh or mmm sounds. He is not listening and not trying to repeating words when I teaching to him. Some times only he is following my instructions. He is not seeing when I am pointing something to him. We are bilingual ( Tamil and English) but mainly talking Tamil at home, but he is not talking any single word in my language. But he can understand what I am saying. He has 5 year old elder brother(sibling) too.He is good in both language.
I have big frustration and worrying on my second son. Could any one please help me, what can I do him to improve his communication? How can I improve his language skill? I am a home stay mum.
