If you feel your children were removed for no cause, then you need to retain an attorney and prepare to prove your case. You should have any and all documentation for any alleged abuse responses, and the steps required and taken.

There was a case file already on your family, if a visit after the kid hitting his head resulted in immediate removal. In other words, abuse was suspected, and proven enough that it was deemed dangerous to the children to be in your care. One little bump on the head will not mandate a report to CPS. Only if there is suspicion of abuse, and then CPS would have to investigate. So, having the child removed indicates that allegations were filed, an investigation ensued, and there was enough evidence to indicate danger.

Your steps at that point should have been to retain an attorney for your protection, and to fight your side for you.

The fact that you voluntarily placed your subsequent child with your parents indicates that you were worried CPS would remove her as well. This indicates that whatever questionable behaviours that started the whole investigation have not necessarily been curtailed...

Get an attorney. Get your paperwork in order. If your children were removed falsely, there will be a process to get them back. BUT, if they were not, they'll stay where they are now, and be given the option to contact you upon their age of majority, which is 18.

I won't be judge mental and reply like some. Whatever the case is the first thing you should have done was got legal advice if they were taken from you with no just cause and then you should have tried to find you a pro bono lawyer if you didn't have the funds to pay for a lawyer. If everything you say is on the up and up I would have fought for my kids from day one with everything I had to find ways of getting them back. I don't think this forum will help you much because we aren't seeing the paper work behind your story so if you love your boys your out cry for help should be in every news paper, on every network tv station etc. to get some high ranking officials to look at your case. So if you truly want your boys back and it's not your fault they were taken you have a lot of work ahead of you trying to do so but a determine mom who knows she made no mistakes can do so

No one can just take your children away from you without just cause, there is way more to this story then what is being said. I do not care how small your town is or where you even live, there are laws that protect children and families.

I do not know how to answer you then. But it just sounds like there is still more going on than what has been said and I have never heard of CPS taking children for no reason at all. And even a bump on the head can look like it is something else to other people even though you know what it is. So did they take both kids at the time of this bump he got jumping from the computer table or did they take the other child later for another reason.

ok to start off its a small town and the head cps worker had it out for my childrens father since he was a child . my oldest jumped off of a computer desk an got a bump on his head i took him in and cps stepped in . Second i did every thing possible to get my kids back and they made it impossible to do in the time limit given also it was part reason i was very young and no family support. I missed 1 visitation the whole 1 and a half i went through the battle with cps.as far as your second statement i have the court paper work where it states at the age of 13 my children are allowed to receive the package that was left for them and it was up to them how they choose to proceed. As far as your 3rd comment . you think i was dumb enough to give them the chance to take my daughter ohhhh no. i gave custody of my daughter to my mother until she was 1 yrs old moved to a new state and i called cps to come out and investigate i was then feeling safe enough to take custody of my daughter back. she has been with me since. If it still dont make since to you then join the club thatnks for the reply.

First, I do not understand the stealing you speak of because I know CPS does not just steal kids. They have a reason for taking them and then taking the rights of a parent away for neglect, abuse, and abandoning them let alone danger to the children. There has to be a reason for them having been taken from you and put up for adoption.
Second, Your kids will not be allowed to contact or connect with you until they reach 18 years old. So I do not know if your kids will get that package.
Third, why did they take the boys in the first place and not the girl?
