I have a 9 year old who is plus size, i am having the hardest time finding tops for her. I am able to find jeans at Justice and JCPenney but the tops do not fit. She is too short to go up to juniors or women's sizes but I am running out of options. The stores that do offer plus sizes have very little selection. What I have found on line is school uniforms and we don't wear school uniforms, she wants to dress like all of her friends but it is impossible. And please do not tell me to put her on a diet or she needs more exercise. I only allow healthy meals/snacks and she participates in several sports activities. Can anyone help me to find clothes that will allow my baby girl to fit in???

Try looking for petite plus online or buy solids and have them hemmed. Also look in to a geneticst who can diagnose a possible metabolic disorder. Some children's bodies can not absorb good fats and nutrients and that in turn makes then gain or loose weight. He can refer you to a nutricionist that specializes in this area so that it can be determined what type of foods are causing her to be out of ideal weight range. Heads up... sometimes is wheat
witch most people consider to be healthy. This wont nesesarilly be a diet, just some estra supplements and an elimination of the culprit. Good luck! Old Navy is good!
