Possibility of an ectopic pregnancy?

Last month I started my period on the day it was supposed to start, but it was lighter than all the other months and it was supposed to stop the day before my birthday. But it kept going and going. It has been a month and it is still there. I was supposed to start my period today, but it has been a month and I'm still bleeding. I have pain on my left side that gets worse, it also goes from the left side to the right side and the bleeding increases if I walk or stand. I have looked up ectopic pregnancy on webmd, mayoclinic, and wikipedia. The symptom that is different is the missed period. I have also done some research on Implanon (which I have had for 10 months) and it says a greater risk for ectopic pregnancy. I have a pregnancy test, but I don't know if it would show up or not. I do not have a doctor because my insurance isn't always excepted and my doctor left the state to practice elsewhere. I would like to know if anyone has been through it, If I could be going through it, what to do...and so on. I'm 20 years old by the way, if that matters.

EDIT- I also forgot to mention that when I first got Implanon put in, my periods got a little irregular but after 6 months, they got back to the normal before pregnancy.

Regardless of whether it is potentially an ectopic pregnancy or not, if you are bleeding for a month and you have pain in the side, you need to see a doctor. Insurance or no insurance, you need to get it checked out.
