I may be at risk of sounded dumb as hell but I'm seven months pregnant and my baby hasn't had one case of the hiccups. With my 20 month old from six and a half months into my pregnancy til she was out of me she had hiccups at least once a day. Does this mean she's not practicing breathing or am I reading too much into it?

No My daughter never had hiccups when I was pregnant with her and my daughter came out fine, my son I didn't get hiccups with him til the end of the pregnancy around 8 months. So I guess it all depends.

Every child is different I would worry my first got the hiccups heaps my second not so much. Mind you I got the worst heart burn with my second. Unrelated but just goes to show 2 pregnancies can be completely different

Some babies do and some don't. My Daughter had them all the time but my boys had them rarely. It just means that your belly isn't doing an interesting dance :-) lol
