I am a 2nd time mom and I had supply issues with my 1st (or at least thats what I assumed at the time). Im afraid i may be having the same struggles with this one too:( my daughter is now 3weeks old. I thought I was doing ok until I took her in for a weight check today and she only gained an ounce in a week. Shes been pooping and peeing just fine (was only pooping every couple days for the 1st 2 weeks but in the last couple days started pooping more frequently) ive been drinking that mothers milk tea and taking go lacta vitamins (things I also did w my 1st child). I seem to be getting more when I pump after feedings than I did w my 1st but I could be wrong. Im just looking for any suggestions or support from anyone that has maybe experienced the same problems. I just feel like im starving her and it makes me feel like a failure. I really want to exclusively breastfeed but I need to do what's best for my daughter so she starts gaining more weight. Please help!!

Continuous nursing and drinking healthy nursing tea brought back my supply from barely one oz to 5oz per session.

Thank you! I appreciate that and I think I just need to hear that. I try to pump as much as I can but I also have an 18 month old so its hard when im the only one home w them. but I dont plan on giving up anytime soon. Its just stressful so thanks for the vote of confidence! !

You're not a failure! Keep pumping. That helped me.. Owen would get tired from nursing, & we had to bottle feed him breast milk. You can try that... But you're no failure.. xo
