Pot smoking neighbors

I live with my husband and our 2 month old daughter in a ground floor, free-standing apartment, with one more attached to it, and two other free-standing units close by. A family recently moved into one, and they have a little girl who is maybe 2 or 3 years old. She is a really happy girl, very talkative and affectionate, and I always hear her playing with her daddy or daddy's friend or uncle.

Here's the problem. The dad, and other members of the household (possibly the entire household) are stoners. They smoke pot multiple times a day...with her in the house. It doesn't matter if she is asleep or awake, they will sit there and get high.

Our property management company has strict rules on smoking, and you can get evicted for even smoking cigarettes outside your own front door (or so it says in the contract) I do not want them to get evicted or in trouble with that sweet little girl in their family. My husband is very worried for their daughter, and even our daughter breathing in the smoke (Daddy instincts kicking in) and wants me to call CPS or complain to the property manager....If there is a complaint they will probably suspect that we did it since we are the only ones right next to them, with a baby too.

So any suggestions?

Maybe you should send them a letter under there door telling them if they are suspected of smoking weed in the house any longer (or before 9 oclock or something) the property manager will be contacted. That way instead of just calling on them you can give them the opportunity to stop.

To be honest I don't think the smell from another house will effect you or your daughter but they probably shouldn't be doing it all day. I also don't thinkyou should call CPS over weed, I know it's not a good thing to be doing but there are much worse parents then people who smoke marijuana.
