You may know of some that train that early, but that is not the normal. Most kids it is between the ages of 2-3 yrs. boys tend to be closer to the 3 yrs mark as their control muscles tend to develop later. As with anything in life there are always exceptions, but at 14 months I would be just enjoying my child at where they are at. They will show you when they are ready. They will start to wake up in the morning dry. They will start to show interest in wanting to sit on the potty. That then shows you that they are interested.....it is still going to be a process before they are ready for underwear. It is a learning process....just like talking, walking, reading.....there are things you can do to help them, but you have to follow their lead and wait until they are ready. Remember it is their accomplishment not yours.

U can't she is 14 months old.....her control muscles she needs for potty training have not developed yet. Wait until she is 2 to 3 yrs old and then follow her lead.
