potty accidents after a very long time of being trained

My Daughter was fully daytime trained (with a few accidents a month) at 11 months and completely without accidents (for 4 months straight) at 15 months. Poop training was done well before she turned 1 (EC'd). I have noticed a few regressions that get better with time, re-doing praise and reminding. She is now 28 months old and for the past week, just stands and pees doesn't even try anymore, at first it was localized to the bathroom, now its anywhere in the house. I've had her clean it up, I've had her go on a schedule again, I've reminded her. In public she tells me, at home she never had to she has full access to her potty seat and step stool and even uses it at night if she needs to go. (night trained since 16 months). I've read constipation can cause this as well as stress and a new sibling. I'm 6 months pregnant (not showing much) and she is excited, every week or doctor's appt she asked me where baby Scarlett is and why she isn't sleeping in the crib. I'm a stay at home mom full time and devote every day to her. I'll be calling tomorrow for another appt to check to see if she has a UTI (the last 4 times she didn't). Any other things that may cause this?

Is she drinking more than normal? I know my daughter who is 24 months just started having accidents like that and she has been potty trained for a while. She was drinking a lot more than normal. I would suggest taking her in to check for a UTI, but it could be that she gets carried away and just drinks to much and forgets to go potty.

It is unrealistic to expect a child to be fully potty trained before she's 4. God gave them small bladders, they may have accidents.

I took her to the doctors yesterday and they checked her urine with a dipstick (came back normal), they went ahead and did a culture, but I wont know the results until Thursday. Since she was complaining of tummy pains and showed the doctor exactly where it hurt, they did an x-ray. The x-ray showed excess gas around her stomach and bowels which presses on her bowels making it hard for the bowels to pass stool (even though she poops everyday), the mild constipation in her small intestines was pushing on her bladder causing her to go pee frequently without even feeling the urge to go or always feeling the urge to go (hard to know with her age). She gave us a prescription for MiraLax- 1/4 cap full once daily, everyday diluted with 8 ounces water/juice. So far, I do see an improvement, she went from peeing every 30 minutes without acknowledging it an sometimes going every 15 minutes in the potty, to saying "I'm peeing" while peeing, and finally today only having 2 accidents!

Does she complain of her tummy hurting? Here is a good link to determine if she possibly has a UTI http://www.whattoexpect.com/toddler/ask-...

You may try giving her some cranberry juice and/or dried cranberries to see if there is a change until you can get her to the doctor.
Hope you figure out whats going on. :)

Thanks Sara, but I don't think its a fluid problem, she still drinks 16 ounces milk in the morning and 12 ounces juice in the afternoon. Today she barely drank her 16 ounces of milk, I took her to the potty every 15 minutes and she had a full bladder each time until about an hour ago. I made it 20 minutes then 30 minutes and then stopped the timer. Not long after, she pooped in the potty but had a pee accident somewhere.
