My kids pediatrician has always told me to wait 6 weeks in between big changes before introducing another change.

I think that making a big deal out of the move will only make her feel that something really IS wrong. I have two sons and one is training. We put him in underwear so that he realizes he is wet. Pull ups keep him from feeling this. It has done WONDERS!!! Good Luck!!! Cold turkey is the best!!

hello. i would say wait untill she gets used to the souroundings. BUT while she's doing that, work on getting her to get comfortable with it. when its time for U to go potty take her with u and make her sit and let her know what mommy is doing. and every half hour or an hour ask her if she wana go potty. she might take a lil longer but whatever its not the end of the world beleive me :) just be patient with her she'll get there. goodluck

One thing we did is we bought a kid potty and put it in the bathroom with us. And when we went we took our son just to sit on it with his clothes on. When he was fully comfortable with just sitting on it with his clothes then we went to pulling down his pants and he did really well. We would take him when we had to go and that way he thought that we were going so he should try! Hope this helps!

The move is a big deal. My right in the middle of potty training we found out that both of us (my husband and I) had to deploy to Iraq, Aaron had to move with my sister-in-law and he seemed to fall a little backwards but we all expected that. Within two weeks of the move and being away from mommy and daddy he was completely potty trained during the day!

Im having the same problem with my 2 year old boy except for the move (we moved 9 months ago). he knows pee pee and poo and potty and when he goes, he even knows how to hold it. When we first brought his new "froggy potty" and "big boy underpants" home he was soo happy. I kept a picture next to it of the box that had a boy sitting on the potty and he did very well associating that and used the potty and we cheered and said "YAY" , but then the picture accidentally got wet and hes been stressed out and runs screaming from the potty every time and if he wets in his underpants he cries and gets so upset with himself. We just bought some pull ups, Im hoping that will help because now he will not go in the potty and barely wants to even go near it. I dont have an answer for you but Ill give emotional support from a mom whos going thru what you are. My older boy (now 14) has some neurological issues and wasnt trained until he was 4 and was very reluctant even then. He didnt stop wetting the bed until he was 9. My girl, (now 10) potty trained herself at 18 months within a week. She just decided she didnt want diapers anymore and started using the toilet. Im at a loss here of what to do with the baby.

my daughter is 2 1/2 and she was well potty trained during the day and at night time she didnt like the potty so we bought her a toilet seat that fits a big toilet we told her it was for big girs and she loves it you shouldnt give up just keep at it she wil get the hang of it it just takes patience even though youve moved it shouldnt make a difference to her good luck .

You could also try lot's of rewards for finding the potty and just sitting with her in the bathroom reading her favorite book. Before bath sit on your potty and she sit on her potty and just have a small conversation. She should get used to the new bathroom then and want to get rid of the baby pants and wear her Big Girl panties.

thank you that is what we have been thinking is its just because its a new house and its a big change for her not just the house

Yes. The move is still new. Wait until she is more comfortable in your new home and your concerns may take care of themselves.
