The best, easiest, and most successful way to potty train is generally by letting the child be 100% in charge... since they ARE the child's bodily functions. Take her to the bathroom w/ you when you go and ask her if she'd like to go. If she says no... drop it. If she says yes... offer her help and encouragement as needed. She'll get there when she's ready and soon enough she'll be asking to go... or just taking herself when she needs to.
My son potty trained in diapers that way and the only 'struggle' I had w/ him was getting him to let go of the diapers after he was 100% successful. lol He does have some attachment issues though, so that was why.
