My oldest started potty training at 2 also. Do you think she would enjoy picking out a seat that goes on top of the toilet seat? She may then feel like its her's and get excited about using it!! We did that with our oldest and he ended up potty training pretty quickly. I did also get a portable seat for out in public! Good luck!

Hi,
This is common behavior for little guys who are just being toilet trained. Bring your LO into the bathroom about every half hour. If she poos in the diaper have her walk into bathroom with you as you flush the poo in the toilet and wave good bye to it in a friendly tone, Start with small steps such as letting child throw paper into the toilet and flushing. That helps to make the bathroom time fun. Make a happy, big deal waving and singing a made up song such as " bye bye toilet paper that was fun, next time we'll do bye bye poo poo in the toilet". Use a regular toilet. I never toilet train on a potty seat because that means your little girl can't use the toilet anywhere, but at home. Next, have her sit on the toilet while you read a book or play music or do a tickle activity. Sitting on the toilet works best if it's fun, consistent (routine) and predictable (on a schedule). Best of luck
Fran
