I been potty training my 3 year old for a few months everything has been going great she was fully potty trained up until a week ago she doesn't want to go potty at home. She only goes at daycare or grammas house is that normal?

These comments were very helpful thanks! @Louise I have both a potty and toliet seat so she can have an options. AApr 4, 2011 4:32 PM 0 @Christina thanks I am now being more patient with her.

There is really no "normal" when it comes to potty training. Every child is different. My middle daughter was 3 when I started her and it only took one week. All of the sudden, she started pooping in her pants--EVERY time she had to go #2. That lasted until about a month ago (total of 5 months). One day it just clicked and she decided to use the toilet. My point is, just be as patient as you can with him/her--things will turn around. I also agree with Louise regarding the Pull-ups. We've always used training panties (except at night and if we had to go out for a long period of time). Good luck!!

Why not try a toilet seat at home so that she can be the same as the rest of the family. All three of my kids never used a potty they went straight to the toilet so they felt like a grown up. Also do not use pull ups ever as your child will see this as having permission to pee in there pants and forget when they are wearing normal pants.
