I don't care which sex of child you are potty training. Don't use PULL-UPS!!! There is nothing like telling a kid "Ok, you are now 2.5 and a big kid BUT let's put this diaper back on you, just in case." Talk about taking a few steps back.
Allow her to choose undies. I would suggest between 12 and 18 pairs. Buy more laundry soap as you will need it, besides that it will not go bad and spoil if you don't use it.
Set a timer as an independent reminder to her. Start at 15 minute intervals. When it goes off, have her try. After there is success at 15 minutes, move the timer to 30 minutes and so on until she is trained. My son was just past 2 ( late Jan) when we started training him. By middle of March, I had become frustrated and started using the timer. By early April he told me one weekend day, as the timer was going off, "don't set it again mommy, I got this." And from then on we did not have any problems.
One reason the timer works is that as an independent reminder you are not harping on her to try. Another reason is that it interrupts her play time and gets her to thinking about how her body tells her what needs to be done.

Let her lead you. There's no need for video's and all that. Just ask her if she wants to wear knickers or go to the potty.
If she's not interested then she's not ready. My daughter was 2.5 before she trained and we have had very few accidents.
