Potty Training a 3 year old boy

I seem to be having a lot of trouble potty training my three year old son. I don't know how to approach it. I put him on the potty every hour to two hours. Sometimes he goes, sometimes he doesn't. He still goes in the pull-up also. Does anyone have any advice for getting him to go on the potty solely. He goes on the adult potty. He won't use his little potty. I am starting to get frustrated and need help. Any advice is welcomed. Thank you in advance.

LOL...honestly, (not laughing AT you, I promise)...Boys are HARD sometimes to train! I know you're frustrated, but the more patient you are, and more often you sit him on the potty, he will start to train.

With my youngest, I had to make him go cold turkey in to underwear...when we asked why he didn't like to use the toilet, he said "that's what my diaper is for"...so needless to say, no more diapers for that little imp...It was stressful, but after about a week of consistent underwear, having to clean them out when he had an accident, and still not getting his diaper back, he was fine. Hopefully you won't need to go THAT route!
