just start by putting a potty in the room he's in most. and tell him it's for his toilet time. explain to him what it is, what's it for and why. my boy's 3 now and toilet trained he was so good doing it i'm so proud, and of my boyfriend who helped him loads (next is teaching him to pee stood up.) let him run around in the house (when no company lol) without a nappy, just sit him on the potty when he starts to squrm for a pee, or croutching for a number 2. we also did the sticker rewards but as we got him a cheap potty we let him stick them on his potty. now we have two potty's covered in stickers ( one upstairs, one down) hope i helped :) x

Ok my son was a little stubborn. I potty trained him right after his third birthday. His birthday is May 18th and I started June 1st. I wanted to do it in the summer because itd be easier for him to run around in underwear. Anyways I would put him on the potty first thing in the morning in the beginning I would put it on a towel in the living room so he could watch tv. And then once he went potty I put him on it every hour. When he went he got to put a sticker on a potty chart that I had made for him. I put him in underwear instead of pull ups because then he could feel himself get all wet and know that it didn't feel fun. Eventually he started to understand when he had to go, so I wouldn't make him sit on the potty, he could just go when he pleased. It only took him a couple of weeks to get the peeing part down but it was well over a month before he finally pooed in the potty. Once he finally did that there was no going back he was completely potty trained!

I had my son potty trained a few months before he turned 3. What I did was let him pick out underwear that he wanted. I put them him and told him not to get Elmo (or whatever character was on them) wet or Elmo would be very sad. Then everytime he had an accident I just told him he made Elmo sad. But everytime he went on the potty he got a sticker (2 for going poop). Then when he got 10 stickers he was able to get a matchbox car. This was all I did, and he was going on the potty all the time with no accidents within a month. Hope this helps.
