Hey moms! What age do you think is a good age to start potty training? Also, what are some good tips on how to get started?

There is no good age. Each child is different take the lead from your child. If your child goes long periods of time being dry and does not like being in a soiled nappy, shows interest in the toilet, or removes the nappy when they get the chance then these are all signs that they are ready to move on.

I never bothered with a potty for any of my children they all had a toilet seat and a step from the word go. What is the point in training them twice!

Just remember though medical experts say that a child can not 100% control it's bowel until around the age of two and bladder control comes later so if you want successful training then start your child after 2 and showing signs that they want to be clean.
