potty training and our daily commute?

My 3yr old girl has done very well these past 2 weeks with potty training @ home. To get to daycare we have an hour commute each way, mon-fri. Any ideas for the commute? (other than trying to go potty prior to leaving the house, and then when we first get to daycare) I don't know if I should resort back to the pull up for the 1 hour drive, it might set us back.

It really does depend on the child. My 2 year old does use pull-ups for long commutes which is about 3-4 times a week. It has not slowed down the process at all for her. She will tell me she needs to go. I try to best to get her to a bathroom in time. If we don't make her I tell her I'm sorry and we change her right away. She likes her panties and using the potty though.

One of my older children loved their diapers and always begged to be put in them. I would not put him in one for anything. In his case, water proof pads on the carseat and a few changes of clothes would be in order.

If you're able to make pit stops please do. They do make travel potties. http://www.toysrus.com/buy/toddler-kids/... If you absolutly have to it can be set on the back seat of the car so they can go ,after you pull over of course.
