Yes, you need to remind her every 2 hours. And JuLeah's suggestion about a sticker chart is a great idea.

You have to constantly remind her does she need a wee and take her regularly until she goes for a pee. All children need to be reminded for the first month or so until they learn that no matter what they are doing they have to pee in the toilet.

It is very very hard for kids to learn to pay attention to what is happening inside their body at the same time they pay attention to what is happening in their world.

This is why parents are famous for "Do you need to use the bathroom?"

Every 1/2 send her to the bathroom, if she can hold it longer, let her go an hour, but not longer.

I am sure you have done the sticker chart and all of that, so there is reward in it for her?

Kids love stickers!
Keep with it, she will get it :)
