He picked up a pair of pants and said please, so hwe put him on the potty and he had a wee then we put a pair of pants on him, then after 10 minutes he pooped in them, so we changed him and then after an hour he did a wee, but he noticed he was doing it and that it felt horrible. But after the wee, we decided to put a nappy back onto him, as we were all tired and so was he. Any comments will help a lot pleaseeeeee? X does the time of day change his wee times? How oftenshould he wee? Hourly?

Dear Adelle,
I can only feel your pain and frustration. We went through the same thing with our daughter Olivia. She peed and pooped everywhere and the amounts of underwear and clothes we used to change is just countless.
You will end up thinking that they are doing it on purpose! So I spoke to our pediatrician and he said to take our time with the training.
Putting the diapers on and off for some hours a day is what the doctor suggested. It gives the child, but also the parents a break. We did this for a number of months, when one day she came and said that she did not want to wear the diapers anymore.
I think a child needs to gain self-confidence during this "on and off" period.
I hope that this was helpful and don't loose patience :)
Good luck!
